Collect testimonials with one link
Send customers one link. They leave a star rating and a few sentences in about a minute, without making an account. You read it, approve it, and it goes on your Wall of Love or your website.
- No account needed for customers
- Star rating + written testimonial
- Consent recorded with every submission
- Built-in spam protection
What a testimonial collection tool does
It gives you one place to ask for testimonials, receive them and decide which ones to show. Without one, testimonials end up spread across email replies, DMs, Google Docs and screenshots — and when you finally want to use one, you can’t find it, or you’re not sure the customer agreed to it being public.
In Wallsy that place is a collection page: a short form at
wallsy.live/f/your-businessthat you share as a link. How to collect testimonials in three steps
- Set up your collection page. Add your logo and brand colour, write the question you want answered, and choose which optional fields to show.
- Send the link. Share it by email or message — after a project, a purchase or a session. Our request templates give you the words.
- Approve and publish. Each testimonial waits in your inbox. Approve the ones you like and they appear on your Wall of Love and website widgets.
Why not just ask by email?
If you collect two testimonials a year, email is fine. It starts to hurt when you want them regularly:
- Every customer writes something different, because nobody asked them the same question.
- You copy text from emails into your website by hand, every time.
- You have no record of who said “yes, you can use my name”.
A general form builder fixes the first problem, not the other two. A testimonial tool handles all three: same questions for everyone, permission stored with each answer, and publishing in a click.
Make it look like your brand
Each collection page has your logo and brand colour, and you write the words customers see:
- Title and intro — e.g. “How was working with us?” and a line explaining what to write.
- Button label — e.g. “Send testimonial”.
- Thank-you message shown after they submit.
- Your own URL name —
wallsy.live/f/your-business.
A live preview shows the form and the thank-you screen as you type.
Ask only for what you need
Every page asks for a name, a 1–5 star rating and the testimonial itself. Email is always optional and stays private — it is never shown on your Wall of Love or widgets.
You can switch these optional fields on or off per page:
- Company
- Job title
- Photo upload (JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF)
- Social profile or website link
Permission and spam, handled
Customers tick a box giving you permission to publish their testimonial with their name. The consent and the time it was given are stored with the testimonial, so you always know you’re allowed to use it.
Spam is caught before it reaches you:
- A hidden field that bots fill in and people don’t.
- Submissions sent within a few seconds of the page loading are rejected.
- Rate limits on repeated submissions from the same visitor.
- Suspicious-looking text is flagged in your inbox for review — never silently deleted.
From “sent” to on your website
You get an email when a testimonial arrives. It waits in your inbox until you approve it — nothing goes public on its own. Approved testimonials can go on a Wall of Love page or a widget on your site.

What to look for when you compare tools
- Is it easy for the customer? No sign-up, works on a phone, done in a minute.
- Do you approve before anything is public?
- Is permission recorded with each testimonial?
- Can you show them where buyers decide — your homepage, pricing page or booking page?
- What does it cost once you have more than a handful?

FAQs
What is the best tool for collecting testimonials?
It depends on what you collect. For written testimonials you want on your website quickly, without paying much, Wallsy is a good fit. If you need video testimonials or reviews imported from Google, look at Testimonial.to, Senja or Boast instead.
How is Wallsy different from Typeform?
Typeform builds any kind of form. Wallsy only does testimonials, so the parts around the form are built in: permission recorded with each answer, an inbox to approve them, and a Wall of Love and widgets to publish them. With a form builder you do those steps yourself.
Do my customers need an account?
No. They open your link, fill in the form and submit. Only you sign in.
Can customers send video testimonials?
No. Wallsy collects written testimonials with a 1–5 star rating and an optional photo.
How many collection pages can I have?
One on the Free plan, unlimited on Pro — for example one per product, service or event.
Can I pause a collection page?
Yes. Switch “Accepting submissions” off and the page stops accepting testimonials until you switch it back on.
Is my customers’ email address public?
No. Email is optional, visible only to you in your inbox, and never included on your Wall of Love or widgets.
