Looking for an Elfsight Testimonials Alternative?

Elfsight’s Testimonials Slider shows testimonials you type into it. Wallsy also collects them: customers write their own through your link, you approve them, and they appear on your widget automatically. Here’s how the two compare.

Why people choose Wallsy

  • Pro is $11/month (or $110/year) with unlimited published testimonials and collection pages.
  • A focused workflow: one collection link → moderation inbox → Wall of Love and website widgets.
  • Customers leave a star rating and a written testimonial without creating an account; consent is recorded with every submission.
  • Widgets update automatically when you publish, with Grid, Carousel, Single-quote and Marquee layouts.

Collecting vs displaying

The biggest difference isn’t the widget — it’s where the testimonials come from. With a display-only widget, you still have to ask customers for testimonials, copy their words in and keep the widget up to date. Wallsy covers the whole loop: you send one link, customers write their testimonial and star rating themselves, you approve the ones you want in the inbox, and your widget and Wall of Love update as soon as you publish.

Wallsy widgets aren’t priced by views, so a busy page doesn’t push you onto a bigger plan.

When Elfsight is the better choice

If you already use other Elfsight widgets on your site, only need to show a handful of testimonials you already have, and your page gets modest traffic, Elfsight’s low entry price and wider app catalogue can make sense. Its paid plans also remove Elfsight branding, which Wallsy doesn’t offer yet.

What you’d pay in a year

Based on each tool’s published yearly prices (checked on September 29, 2026). Elfsight prices are for its single-app plans:

If you need…Wallsy, per yearElfsight, per year
Up to 5,000 widget views a month$110 (Pro, billed yearly)$60 (Basic, $5/month)
Up to 50,000 widget views a month$110 (Pro, billed yearly)$120 (Pro, $10/month)
Up to 150,000 widget views a month$110 (Pro, billed yearly)$240 (Premium, $20/month)
Collecting and approving testimonialsIncludedNot part of the widget

Elfsight is cheaper for a low-traffic page that only displays testimonials you already have. As traffic grows, or once you want customers to send testimonials themselves, Wallsy’s flat price covers both.

FAQ

Can the Elfsight testimonials widget collect testimonials?

According to Elfsight, its Testimonials Slider shows testimonials you add yourself and doesn’t import reviews from other platforms. Wallsy gives you a collection link so customers write their own testimonials, which you approve before they appear.

Does Wallsy limit widget views?

No. Wallsy widgets aren’t priced by views, on the Free plan or on Pro. Elfsight’s plans are set by monthly views, starting at 200 views a month on its free plan.

Which is cheaper, Wallsy or Elfsight?

For a small, low-traffic site that only needs to display a few testimonials, Elfsight’s Basic plan ($5/month billed yearly) costs less. Wallsy Pro is $11/month and includes collecting, approving and displaying testimonials with no view limits.

Switching to Wallsy

  1. Create a free account with Google and set up your business.
  2. Share your collection page link with customers. On Pro, you can also import public posts from X by pasting the post link.
  3. Approve testimonials in the inbox, then publish them to a Wall of Love or a widget.

Wallsy can’t import testimonials from other testimonial tools, so existing ones need to be collected again through your Wallsy link, or imported from X if they were posted there.

Your happiest customers are one link away.
